About Us

Curt, Sharlene and Dewt-Bug love to travel around with their 5^th wheel trailer and RZRs enjoying this beautiful country.  They have some areas they visit regularly, but also enjoy finding new places and meeting like-minded people.  Sharlene recently retired, so that makes traveling a little easier with only one work schedule to juggle.  Curt is a small residential contractor, so summers are the busy season of year for him, which limits travel time to mostly long weekends. 

They are both Idaho natives and see no reason to move anywhere else, although the older they get the better visits to warmer parts of the country sounds during the winter months. 

Dewt-Bug is their umbrella cockatoo and “rules the roost.”  She is in her thirties and has the mental equivalence of a two-year old human.  Life expectancy is 50-70 years in captivity.  In the truck, she has a perch where she “co-pilots” from the front seat.  She loves seeing airplanes and birds and always tells them hello and that she loves them.  In the 5^th wheel, she has a cage that is mounted to the floor so there are no unexpected tip overs.  At home she has her own room with a large cage with lots of room to play and chew on blocks.  In all truthfulness, she doesn’t spend much time in her cage.  She’s usually with Sharlene.  She loves setting outside in her screened-in porch/tent in the mornings. 

If you see Curt and Sharlene out on the road or trails, be sure to say “hi.”  They love meeting other fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
